INDIANAPOLIS - The NCAA announced on Thursday the 2022 Men’s Final Four will be played in New Orleans.
The Big Easy will host the Final Four for the sixth time overall and the first time in 10 years. New Orleans traditionally has been one of the most popular Final Four cities and has provided several iconic championship moments that will be celebrated as anniversaries in 2022. The Division I Men’s Basketball Committee selected New Orleans, with Tulane University serving as the host institution.
“New Orleans has an incredibly rich history of hosting the Final Four, and for a variety of reasons it was determined that 2022 was the perfect year to bring the event back to the Crescent City,” said Dan Gavitt, vice president for men’s basketball championships.
