PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly football honors for the seventh week of the 2019 college football season.
OFFENSIVE PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
Malcolm Perry • Navy • Sr. • QB • Clarksville, Tenn.
Perry rushed for 218 yards and three touchdowns on 20 attempts to lead Navy in a 45-17 win at Tulsa. Perry averaged 10.9 yards per carry and scored on touchdown runs of 29, 35 and 3 yards as Navy scored 28 consecutive first-half points. It was Perry’s fourth career game with 200 rushing yards, tying for the second-most in school history.
