IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly women’s soccer awards.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Clarissa Larisey, Sr., F, Memphis
Larisey scored a brace in the Tigers’ 2-0 win over Tulsa on Feb. 24. It was the senior forward’s seventh multi-goal game of her career.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Kimberley Smit, Jr., D, Memphis
Smit led the Tiger defense that only allowed two shots on goal in a 2-0 shutout of Tulsa on Feb.
