IRVING, Texas – Memphis claimed its second American Athletic Conference Women’s Soccer Championship after winning a penalty shootout with South Florida, 3-0, Sunday, Nov. 7 at Corbett Soccer Stadium in Tampa, Fla.

Memphis (13-4-2), the 2021 American Athletic Conference Championship winners, will host LSU (11-7-1) in the first round on Sunday, November 14 at 2 p.m. Eastern. The winner will advance to the second round to face the winner of No. 1 seed Duke (13-3-1) and Old Dominion (13-4-1). The Tigers are making their fourth consecutive NCAA Championship appearance and 10th trip overall.
