Memphis' Henigan, South Florida's Brown on Walter Camp Award Watch List

IRVING, Texas - Two American Athletic Conference quarterbacks were among the 50 players chosen to the 2024 Walter Camp Player of the Year Preseason Watch List.

Memphis' Seth Henigan, the only fourth-year player nationally who will be a four-year starter at the same school, joined South Florida's Byrum Brown, who was one of only two players nationally (along with Heisman Trophy-winner Jayden Daniels of LSU) who had 3,000 passing yards and 800 rushing yards last season.

The Walter Camp Award is the nation's fourth-oldest individual accolade in college football.

The 2024 watch list includes 41 offensive players (20 quarterbacks, 11 running backs, five receivers/tight ends and two offensive lineman) along with nine defensive players.
