LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Memphis' PJ Haggerty was named to the John R. Wooden Award Midseason Top 25, announced Wednesday by the Los Angeles Athletic Club.
The list, comprised of 25 student-athletes who are front-runners for the sport's most prestigious honor, was determined by a poll of national college basketball experts based on the performances during the 2024-25 season thus far. Haggerty is looking to become the first Tiger to ever win the Wooden Award.
The Crosby, Texas native leads the 19th-ranked Tigers (12-3) in scoring at 22.2 points per game, which is tops in the American Athletic Conference and fourth nationally.
