IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly football honors for the sixth week of the 2020 season.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Marquez Stevenson • Houston • Sr. • WR • Shreveport, La.
Stevenson finished with 223 all-purpose yards and scored two long touchdowns in Houston’s 49-31 win against Tulane in the Cougars’ season-opener. Stevenson had five receptions for 118 yards, including a 41-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter to put the game away. He added a 97-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in the third quarter after the Green Wave had closed to within three points.
