PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly baseball honors for the week ending April 14.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Kody Hoese * Jr. * 3B * Tulane
Hoese earns his second-straight American Player of the Week honor a week after being named National Hitter of the Week by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA). The junior third baseman slugged 1.200 and hit .467 through a 4-0 week, including a weekend sweep of USF. He had seven hits, 10 runs scored, six RBIs, two doubles, three home runs and drew two walks.
