Houston’s Harm Tabbed American Women’s Golf Player of the Week

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Houston sophomore Leonie Harm was named the American Women's Golf Player of the Week on Wednesday after finishing as the runner-up at the MountainView Collegiate.

Harm finished second in a field of 72 at the MountainView Collegiate Mar. 10-12 at the MountainView Golf Club in Tucson, Ariz. The sophomore set a school record with a 66 in the first round last Friday and finished the three-day event at 9-under 207 (66-69-72). Harm posted career-best 18, 36 and 54 hole totals over the weekend. She helped lead the Cougars to a third place finish, their best outing of the season.
