Houston was dominant over its first tournament of the season in Norman, dropping Oregon State in four sets before taking down host Oklahoma in five sets to finish the weekend 3-0. The Cougars outscored Oregon State 25-22, 25-23, 22-25, 25-22 and bested Oklahoma 25-22, 25-16, 22-25, 14-25, 15-13.
Kate Georgiades registered 26 digs, six assists and three service aces in the win over Oregon State. Abbie Jackson chipped in 22 kills and nine digs to narrowly miss a double-double in the opening victory.
