Saturday’s game will be the fifth meeting between Tulane and Temple … The schools first met in the 1935 Sugar Bowl, when Tulane was a 20-14 winner, but had not played again until the 2014 season … Temple has won the three meetings under the American Athletic Conference banner, including a 31-0 decision in New Orleans in 2016.
