Four Players from The American Named Collegiate Baseball All-Americans

PROVIDENCE, R.I.—Four American Athletic Conference baseball student-athletes have been named All-Americans by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper. UCF’s Jeff Hakanson and ECU’s Alec Burleson were named to the first team, while Tulane’s Braden Olthoff and Memphis’ Hunter Goodman were selected to the second team. The American Athletic Conference was one of five conference’s with two or more First-Team All-Americans.

Burleson, who earned the utility selection on the first team, hit .375 with three home runs and 12 RBI, while also earning a 2-1 record with 22 strikeouts on the mound for the Pirates.
