LoPinto figured in a game-high seven goals to lead No. 7 Florida to a 17-8 season-opening win against No. 17 Michigan. The preseason All-America selection scored four goals with three assists against the Wolverines to surpass 100 career points in the first game of her sophomore season, becoming the fastest player in program history to reach the milestone (23 games).
