PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly women’s basketball honors for the week ending Sunday, March 1.

Wright enjoyed a huge week for American Athletic Conference Women’s Basketball Championship No. 2 seed UCF, averaging 26.7 points per game and 4.7 assists per contest in victories over Temple, Memphis and Wichita State. Wright shot 55.4 percent from the field over the three-game stretch, which included a 58.8 percent clip (10-of-17) from 3-point range.
