PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Commissioner Mike Aresco announced today the hiring of Eric Ziady as Chief Financial Officer of the American Athletic Conference. He will assume his new position on November 15, 2016.
With more than 25 years of financial and administrative experience, Ziady most recently served as the director of intercollegiate athletics and recreation services at the University of Delaware from 2012-15, overseeing 21 athletic programs.
“I am pleased to welcome Eric to our senior staff as our new Chief Financial Officer,” said Aresco. “He brings outstanding credentials and experience to this important position. Eric has a proven track record as a strong financial administrator and has a strong understanding of the collegiate landscape.
