PROVIDENCE, R.I. – No. 10 seed ECU (47-17) fell 14-1 to No. 7 seed Louisville (48-16) in the opening game of a 2019 NCAA Baseball Super Regional in Louisville, Ky. on Friday. The best-of-three series continues Saturday from Jim Patterson Stadium at 3 p.m. ET on ESPNU. The Pirates earned their fifth overall Super Regional bid and first since 2016 after winning the Greenville Regional.
