PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly baseball honors for the week ending March 10.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Joe Davis * Jr. * 1B * Houston
Davis anchored the Cougars’ offense through a 3-1 week, including a three-game series sweep of Army. The junior first baseman went 10-for-16 (.625) with two doubles, two home runs, eight RBIs and two runs scored. Recording a hit in all four games during the week, he had a multi-hit performance in each contest against the Black Knights.
