East Carolina's Yesavage And Lunsford-Shenkman Named NBCWA All-Americans

DALLAS – East Carolina junior RHPs Trey Yesavage and Wyatt Lunsford-Shenkman have earned National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) All-America honors according to an announcement by the organization Wednesday. Yesavage was tabbed to the First Team while Lunsford-Shenkman garnered Second Team laurels.

With the selections, the Pirates have had at least one player collect NCBWA All-America accolades every season since 2017. Yesavage and Lunsford-Shenkman are also the 13th and 14th All-America honorees in head coach Cliff Godwin's 10-year tenure while Yesavage has now posted five All-America citations during his career in the Purple and Gold.

Yesavage produced one of the finest campaigns in program history in 2024 as he was named the American Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Year and a semifinalist for both the Golden Spikes Award and Dick Howser Trophy.
