OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – East Carolina senior pitcher Evan Kruczynski has been named one of 30 candidates for the 2017 Senior Class Award in college baseball.
To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must be classified as an NCAA Division I senior and have notable achievements in four areas of excellence: community, classroom, character and competition.
In the classroom, Kruczynski boasts a 3.23 cumulative GPA in recreation and park management and is a two-time American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team selection.
Before this season, Kruczynski was named The American Pitcher of the Year and was chosen to two preseason All-America Teams (Collegiate Baseball and Perfect Game).
