IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly women’s soccer awards for the seventh week of the regular season.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Hailey Gutowski, Jr., F, Temple
Gutowski scored three goals in a 2-0 week for the Owls last week. She scored both goals in a 2-1 win over Houston on Sunday, Oct. 17, and added a goal in a 2-1 non-conference win over LIU.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Vivianne Bessette, Fr., D, South Florida
Bessette helped lead the Bulls’ defense in a 1-0 shutout on the road at Memphis, playing all 105 minutes.
