IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the weekly women’s soccer honors for the fifth week of the season.
Offensive Player of the Week
Leah Chancey, Gr., M, Rice
Chancey scored the game-winning goal in the 58th minute of the Owls’ 1-0 victory against Tulsa in the conference opener for both teams on Thursday night, September 12.
Defensive Player of the Week
Georgia Brown, Sr., D, South Florida
Brown led the Bull defense to a pair of clean sheets and only five shots on goal allowed.
