East Carolina Gains Bowl Eligibility With Comeback Win At Tulsa

TULSA, Okla. - East Carolina defensive back Isaiah Brown-Murray made a game-saving tackle at the 1-yard line in the final minute as the Pirates secured bowl eligibility with a wild 38-31 win against Tulsa Thursday night at H.A. Chapman Stadium.

Brown-Murray made a diving stop on Tulsa's Kamdyn Benjamin's receiver sweep on a pop pass on fourth down from the 2-yard line as Tulsa threatened for the potential tying touchdown in the final minute. The Golden Hurricane had taken its final possession 74 yards on six plays after getting the ball with 2:07 left.

A 44-yard pass from Cooper Legas to Joseph Williams put Tulsa on the 10-yard line with 1:32 left, and two runs by Legas brought the Golden Hurricane to the 2.
