Davenport's Career-High Helps Memphis Hold off USF In First Round

No. 5 seed Memphis (20-12) advances to meet fourth-seeded Tulsa (19-11) in Friday's quarterfinals. The Tigers have won six of the last seven, including an upset of then-No. 23 Houston. Memphis clinched its first 20-win season since 2013-14 as the Tigers set an American Athletic Conference tournament record by shooting 57.1 percent from the field (28 of 49).
