PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly women’s basketball honors, for the week ending Sunday, Feb. 17.
Player of the Week
Napheesa Collier * Sr. * F * UConn
Collier repeated as the Player of the Week with standout performances in UConn’s wins over South Carolina and UCF last week. Against the No. 11 Gamecocks, she notched her second-straight 30-plus point outing, finishing with a season-high 31 to go along with 16 rebounds and six assists. On Sunday, Collier led all players with 18 points against UCF, completing her 14th double-double with 11 boards and adding five assists and four steals.
