Charlotte’s Felts, Memphis’ Jones Named The American’s 2024 NCAA Woman of the Year Nominees

IRVING, Texas – Charlotte track and field athlete Riley Felts and Memphis women’s soccer player Mya Jones have been selected as The American’s nominees for the 2024 NCAA Woman of the Year.

From a program-record pool of 627 school nominees, a total of 161 college athletes were named conference-level nominees for the award.

Since 1991, The NCAA Woman of the Year program has recognized graduating female student-athletes for excellence in academics, athletics, community service, and leadership throughout their college careers.

The Woman of the Year Selection Committee, made up of representatives from the NCAA membership, will now choose the Top 30 honorees — 10 from each division — from the conference-level nominees.
