IRVING, Texas – Charlotte freshman Pinky Chaisilprungruang earned the top two player honors for the season as part of the 2025 American Athletic Conference women’s golf awards that were announced by the league on Tuesday, being voted the Golf Player of the Year and the Freshman of the Year. Tulsa’s Mike Roters was named Coach of the Year. Both major player awards and American Coach of the Year were voted on by the conference’s 11 women’s golf head coaches.
Chaisilprungruang became the first Charlotte player to be named American Golf Player of the Year and Freshman of the Year.
