SARASOTA, Fla. – For the first time in conference history, a sudden-death playoff was needed to determine the 2025 American Men’s Golf Champion, with the Charlotte 49ers coming out on top to defeat South Floridan after two rounds of playoffs. It marks the first American Men’s Golf Championship for the 49ers. South Florida’s Jake Peacock became the first player to repeat as The American Individual Champion, shooting 14-under 202 over 54 holes.
The average score over the final day was 71.02 over 55 rounds. Over the three days, the average score was 71.78 for the athletes.
