American volleyball teams earned five wins during Saturday's early season tournament action. Temple swept Louisiana in College Station, while Tulane swept Grambling State in New Orleans. Charlotte took down UNC Wilmington on the road in four sets, while Memphis defeated Indiana State at home in four sets. Rice, Temple and Tulane will close out the weekend on Sunday, beginning with Rice taking on Northern Iowa at 11 a.m. ET.
