PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The 2017 American Athletic Conference Basketball Media Day will feature wall-to-wall coverage of the event, including six hours of live programming on the conference’s digital platforms. The American’s Hali Oughton will anchor live coverage from Philadelphia and will be joined by broadcast veterans Andy Katz, Monica McNutt and Mike O’Donnell.
On Monday, Oct. 16, programming will open at 7:45 a.m. ET, with the reveal of the men’s basketball preseason poll, all-conference teams and preseason player and rookie of the year honorees. Katz, a renowned voice in college basketball, will anchor roundtable conversations with the 12 men’s basketball head coaches of The American.
