IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of its 2022 women’s soccer honors, as chosen by the league’s head coaches.
Two student-athletes repeated as individual award winners. Senior Ashley Barron of Cincinnati was named The American’s Defensive Player of the Year for the third-consecutive season, while UCF redshirt senior Caroline DeLisle was selected as the Goalkeeper of the Year for the second straight year.
Senior Kristen Scott of UCF was named the Offensive Player of the Year, while SMU graduate student Courtney Sebazco was picked as the Midfielder of the Year.
