IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced a revised bracket for its 2021 Women’s Tennis Championship this week at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida.
The adjustment was made after Temple withdrew from the championship due to a positive COVID-19 test and the ensuing contact tracing with the program.
The new nine-team bracket will have one first-round match Thursday as No. 9 seeded Cincinnati faces No. 8-seeded USF. No. 7-seeded Wichita State, which had been slated to play a first-round match Thursday, will instead receive a first-round bye and will face No.
