SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The four-man team representing the American Athletic Conference at the inaugural 3x3U National Championship was announced on Wednesday afternoon. Wichita State’s Conner Frankamp and teammate Shaquille Morris will team up with ECU’s B.J. Tyson and UCF’s A.J. Davis in the competition, which runs Friday-Sunday in San Antonio at Bill Greehey Arena on the campus of St. Mary's University.
The new event features 32 four-man teams representing each of the 32 Division I conferences and competing for a $100,000 prize pool. Only seniors who have exhausted their collegiate eligibility may take part.
Teams are guaranteed at least three games.
