PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The 2016 American Athletic Conference Football Championship will be televised nationally on ABC. The Championship will be played Saturday, Dec. 3, at noon ET at the home site of one of the conference’s divisional winners.
This year will mark the second consecutive season in which The American Football Championship is televised on ABC. Last year’s matchup between Houston and Temple drew a national television audience of 2.45 million viewers.
