45 American Athletic Conference Rowers Named CRCA Scholar Athletes

Forty-five American Athletic Conference rowers representing all seven league squads were recognized as Scholar Athletes by the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) earlier this week.

In order to earn Scholar Athlete honors, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically, have rowed in her NCAA or IRA eligible boat(s) for a minimum of 75 percent of its spring races, and own at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA.

All seven American teams had at least four rowers recognized, with UConn sporting the highest total of 10.
