OKLAHOMA CITY – The 2019 American Athletic Conference Women’s Rowing Championship has been rescheduled to Friday, May 17, at 8 a.m. ET/7 a.m. CT, in Oklahoma City, Okla., at the US Rowing National High Performance Center.
The 2019 event was originally scheduled for Sunday, but severe weather expected in Oklahoma City over the weekend forced a move to Friday.
Due to the updated championship schedule and its university academic requirements for finals, Sacramento State will be unable to compete in this year’s championship.
“We regret that we are unable to conduct our rowing championship this Sunday as scheduled, but the safety of our student-athletes, coaches and fans is the top priority, as it is with all of our championships,” said American Athletic Conference commissioner Mike Aresco.
