2017 American Men’s Golf Awards Announced

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The American Athletic Conference announced its annual men's golf awards on Friday to cap the 2016-17 season.

Cincinnati sophomore Austin Squires was selected as American Men's Golf Player of the Year, while UCF rookie Bobby Bai was named the American Men's Golf Freshman of the Year. The Knights took home the league’s top freshman honor for the second consecutive season. USF head coach Steve Bradley was tabbed the American Men's Golf Coach of the Year for the third year in a row.

The awards were voted on by the league's nine head coaches.
