Florence linebacker Erroll Thompson got an offer from the University of Alabama and a comparison to a pair of NFL players.
Thompson talked to Alabama head coach Nick Saban on Thursday, confirming the offer he got from defensive coordinator Kirby Smart on Wednesday night.
"I did a workout and had sent them the tape," Thompson said. "He's saying he loved everything about my film and he thinks I'm one of the top prospects in the state. He wanted to offer me and he tells me he likes my quick twitch and the usual.
