Braxton Barker has a decision to make.
Will the Spain Park quarterback accept Alabama's offer to walk on and follow in the footsteps of his father, national championship winning quarterback Jay Barker? Or, will he accept a scholarship offer from a smaller school to continue his football career?
The truth is, he doesn't know yet.
"Everything is open," Barker said this week.
Barker currently holds offers from Delta State (Miss.) and Kentucky Wesleyan, both NCAA Division II schools. Alabama and Memphis have extended preferred walk-on offers, which essentially guarantees a roster spot without a scholarship, but the Memphis situation could morph into a scholarship offer.
