The Allstate Sugar Bowl in New Orleans (La.) sponsors the Manning Award. Since 2004, the Manning Award honors the accomplishments of Archie Manning, Peyton Manning, and Eli Manning. All three were legends in the Southeastern Conference and all played quarterback in the National Football League. The Sugar Bowl committee judges the candidates for the Manning Award to see who is the best quarterback in college football. Bryce Young won the honor in 2021 after a strong sophomore year.
