LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky's Riley Mahan hit a walk-off grand slam in the No. 19 Wildcats' 6-2 victory over Alabama on Saturday at Cliff Hagan Stadium. The Wildcats claim the series victory with the win.
Kentucky loaded the bases in the ninth with no outs before the Tide brought in Jon Keller. The senior left-hander struck out the first batter before giving up the home run to Mahan.
In the top of the ninth, Alabama catcher Will Haynie hit a home run to tie the game 2-2.
“We’ve had two well-pitched games to put ourselves in a position to win,” Alabama head coach Mitch Gaspard said.
