Wild reason Jets owner vetoed Jerry Jeudy trade

According to The Athletic, New York Jets owner Woody Johnson vetoed a trade for former Alabama wide receiver Jerry Jeudy because of his Madden rating. Apparently, it was not high enough for Johnson to follow through with the trade.

On the bright side, Jeudy might be better off not suiting up for Johnson and the Jets. After being traded from the Denver Broncos to the Cleveland Browns, Jeudy has seen an uptick in opportunities. He is currently the Browns number 1 wide receiver. In 2024, Jeudy has hauled in 70 receptions for 1,052 yards and four touchdowns this season.
