The last five basketball seasons saw Villanova lose no more than five games. Two years ago, it won a national title on the final play of the game.
Naturally, coach Jay Wright follows Alabama football closely. Back in January, the Wildcat coach said Nick Saban might be one of the best coaches in sports history.
So, it's fair to call him a fan.
"I love college football, so therefore -- Big East we don't have it," Wright said with a grin Friday in Pittsburgh. "Therefore, I love watching the SEC and our guys watch those games.
