Dynasty. A word that is used selectively in all sports to describe sustained success by one team. The NBA had the dynasties of the Lakers, Celtics and Bulls. The NFL had the Packers, Cowboys and Patriots dynasties. MLB has the Yankees, and college football has a dynasty going strong right now that is unlike any one before it.
Although most of the media is quick to constantly label Alabama’s current dynasty dead, Alabama time and time again shows that they are still alive, and have no intentions of slowing down.
