Kadyn Proctor felt he had to issue an apology to Kalen DeBoer in the pair’s first meeting in his return to Tuscaloosa.
Proctor transferred to Iowa following the 2023 football season and Nick Saban’s decision to retire despite starting at left tackle as a freshman. He made his way back to Tuscaloosa during the summer after a few months with the Hawkeyes after entering the transfer portal again.
The five-star felt he had to make things right with DeBoer in his return.
“When I got back, I had apologized because I knew that when he first came here, his first week here, I really wasn’t giving him a chance,” Protor told reporters on Wednesday.
