It's not like Alabama is punting much these days, but the player doing the punting for the Crimson Tide will be different moving forward.
Saturday night was game one of the Mike Bernier era for Alabama.
The Tide made the change this week, switching from Skyler DeLong to Bernier, a senior from Madison.
DeLong, a freshman, had averaged just 34.4 yards per punt through the first seven games. His most recent punt was a 12-yard shank against Missouri last week.
Bernier punted twice Saturday night versus Tennessee. Both punts were 41-yarders.
"Nobody's entitled to a job," Alabama coach Nick Saban said.
