Auburn’s “SEC Network Takeover” started off well enough, but not without a catch.
While the 24-hour day of only Auburn programming Sunday kicked off with the Tigers’ memorable 1989 Iron Bowl win, the top corner of the screen suggested otherwise.
Instead of an Auburn logo on the screen denoting that the Tigers were taking over the channel for the day, an Alabama logo mistakenly took its place.
Naturally, Auburn fans were less than thrilled.
According to Twitter user @WarBlogle, it took at least 50 minutes for the on-screen logo to be changed from Alabama to Auburn.
