The announcement of a College Football Hall of Fame induction class always comes with a sense of history. But the Class of 2017 could be particularly noteworthy for the SEC.
The College Football Hall of Fame's Class of 2017 will be announced on ESPN's "SportsCenter" at 8:30 a.m. CST Monday.
Eighty-eight players and 27 coaches from the SEC have been inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame, and the ballot for the Class of 2017 included 10 players and two coaches from the conference.
The announcement of the new members could include the fourth man inducted as a player and a coach, the SEC's second inductee from the 1990s and a rare player entering the Hall in his first year of eligibility.
