After NFL teams cut more than 1,000 players on Friday and Saturday, 108 players with Alabama football roots remained on active rosters, with another eight on various reserve lists.
Fifty-nine players from Alabama high schools and colleges were released or waived as NFL teams reduced their rosters from 90 players to the regular-season limit of 53.
State players surviving the cuts included two undrafted rookies - both cornerbacks. Jacksonville State's Jaylen Hill is still with the Baltimore Ravens, and West Alabama's Dee Virgin is with the Houston Texans.
The other 18 rookies from Alabama remaining on rosters came from the state's 19 players drafted in April.
