Alabama fans were left with a lot of questions following the Crimson Tide’s loss to Michigan in the ReliaQuest Bowl. There were not many positive takeaways, but there were a few bright spots, however. Today, I will list three bright spots from Alabama’s fourth loss of the 2024 season.
1. Alabama’s defense bent but never broke.
Despite the loss, Alabama’s defense seemed to hold its own for the majority of the game. The lone touchdown that Alabama allowed was a result of Michigan taking over the ball on Alabama’s 16-yard line after a turnover. The Wolverines did not go the length of the field on the Crimson Tide’s defense during the game, which is a testament to the defensive staff, the players, and the defensive gameplan.
