TUSCALOOSA – Here is how some former Tuscaloosa-area high school athletes now competing at the collegiate level fared last week:
MEN’S BASKETBALL:
Alabama junior forward Jimmie Taylor (Greensboro High School) recorded 11 points, four rebounds and five blocked shots in the win at Florida.
Alabama A&M guard Ladarius Tabb (Greensboro High School) averaged 26.5 points (21-for-45 FG) and 10 rebounds against Mississippi Valley State and Alabama A&M.
Albany (NY) senior guard Ray Sanders (Holt High School) averaged 22.5 points (16-for-30 FG), six rebounds and 2.5 steals in back-to-back 20-point games against New Hampshire and Maine.
